There’s something magical about stepping into a home that’s been meticulously designed and crafted. The attention to detail, the fresh paint, the perfectly arranged furniture—all of it tells a story. That’s exactly the experience we had at this year’s Durango Parade of Homes.
SoCo’s Spectacular Showing
This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular. With stunning homes showcasing the latest in design and architecture, it’s always a treat to see how our community blends creativity and craftsmanship. But one of the highlights for us at SoCo Wood & Windows was the chance to host our very own Parade stop at our brand-new showroom.
On Saturday, September 7th, we welcomed visitors to our new space on Highway 160 for an afternoon of music, food, and fun. It was a day to remember, and if you were there, you know how special it was!
Our event featured live music from the talented Kirk James Blues Band, and the atmosphere was filled with great vibes and community spirit. Guests had the chance to tour our showroom, meet our friendly team, and explore our curated collection of high-quality windows, doors, and cabinets.

Why You Should Put Parade of Homes on Your Calendar For 2025
Whether you’re a design enthusiast, a prospective homeowner, or simply someone who loves exploring beautiful spaces, the Parade of Homes offers something for everyone.
Here’s why participating in this year’s Parade of Homes was such a treat, and why you should join us next year:
1. Inspiration at Every Turn
Each home you visit is a work of art, blending style, function, and creativity. From bold architectural choices to innovative interior design trends, you’ll discover countless ideas to spark your imagination. Whether it’s a unique kitchen layout, a cozy outdoor space, or smart home technology integrated seamlessly into the design, the Parade of Homes is a goldmine for inspiration.
2. Meet Local Experts
The Parade of Homes is more than just a showcase of beautiful properties; it’s also a chance to meet the local builders, designers, and suppliers (like us!) who brought these spaces to life. You can chat with professionals who understand the latest trends, materials, and techniques, and ask questions that could help guide your own home projects. It’s a rare opportunity to get insider tips directly from the people who create these masterpieces.
3. A Personal Touch
Unlike scrolling through pictures online or flipping through a design magazine, visiting a Parade of Homes lets you experience the space firsthand. You can feel the textures, walk through the rooms, and get a sense of how a home flows. It’s a tangible experience that allows you to connect with the design in a more personal way.
We’ll See You at Next Year’s Parade of Homes
The Parade of Homes is one of our favorite events because it provides the perfect opportunity to see emerging trends in home design and technology. This year was no different! It was a joy to see how many of the homes on display featured products from our showroom, truly bringing our vision to life in real-world settings.
For those who joined us, we hope you left feeling inspired—and perhaps with a few new ideas for your next home project. If you missed it, don’t worry– our showroom is open year-round, and we’d love to help you find the perfect pieces for your home.
Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Parade of Homes.
