Our Story
First founded in 1958 as Las Animas Wood Products, SoCo Wood & Windows carries on the rich tradition of woodworking and milling in Colorado by offering only real wood products in standard and custom designs.
The current owner, Ryan Siggins, purchased Las Animas Wood Products in 2015 when it was on the verge of shutting its doors for good. Together with his wife Kerry, Ryan worked to turn the business around, renaming it Durango Wood Company, and establishing it as the premier millworks in the Four Corners area with its stunning wood products made with exceptional quality.
In 2021, the Siggins expanded again by acquiring Doors & More in Pagosa Springs, CO—a door and window dealer known in the area for its unparalleled customer service and quality in-house framing shop.
Together, Durango Wood Company and Doors & More are now SoCo Wood & Windows. Our mission is to help you transform ordinary houses into extraordinary living spaces with timeless wood products, quality windows, doors, and cabinets you can’t find anywhere else.
Meet the Owner
SoCo Wood & Windows is committed to creating meaningful jobs and high-quality products in the Four Corners area.

Ryan
Owner
Ryan Siggins, a serial entrepreneur, first moved to Durango, Colorado in 2004 to open his first chiropractic practice (yes, he is a chiropractor!). During his healthcare stint, he started 2 other adjunct businesses — Durango Bike Fit and Quantified Performance. After Jack was born in 2012, Ryan decided it was time to transition out of the healthcare field.
In 2014 while looking for business opportunities in Durango, Ryan stumbled on Las Animas Wood Products. Seeing an opportunity to continue the legacy of millwork production in La Plata County, Ryan and Kerry purchased the equipment and property in early 2015, and then Doors and More in 2021. Ryan is proud to own this historic property and business, creating jobs and products for the Four Corners region.
Meet the Team

Alex Dappen
Sales Associate
With a background in recreational equipment design and fabrication, Alex came to Durango in 2017 and has worked in the local building industry ever since. After growing up in Ohio and then living in Denver for several years, Alex and his wife moved to Durango to enjoy the family -oriented community and easy access to their favorite outdoor activities.
Alex enjoys working at SoCo because he loves being able to supply the knowledge and capabilities to provide custom and stock materials to fit the needs of any clientele. He is excited about the diversity of products SoCo offers, and likes being able to assist customers as a part of the process of bringing their dreams to life.

Tim Keuski
Windows Sales pRofessional
Tim grew up in the rolling farmland of northern Maryland, but has lived the last 20 years in Durango. Durango being perfect for the avid outdoorsman, Tim spends his time (when he is not working) cycling in the summer and skiing with his daughter in the winter. Tim has a passion for helping people find what they are looking for, and he looks forward to doing just that as he fulfills his role at SoCo Wood & Windows.
Prior to joining the SoCo team, Tim spent nearly a decade working for Pella Windows. Tim also brings extensive energy efficiency knowledge to the table from his work as an independent Energy Star rater.
As someone who has trained and toured the Marvin facility, Tim is confident in saying that his favorite SoCo products are the Marvin windows and doors. Tim loves to dig into the details of the products he sells, and he looks forward to helping you with your window and door needs!

Rachael Mauch
Sales Manager
A Colorado native, Rachael has extensive experience in retail and management. After relocating to Durango, she made her way into the construction trade industry. She started as an office administrator at SoCo Wood & Windows but found herself fascinated by the different products they offered. Before she knew it, she was learning about inswings, glazing, even how to read a set of architectural plans!
Rachael loves the opportunity to creatively solve problems. To her, customer service is more than simply fulfilling a product request; it means creating an above and beyond experience. She is passionate about seeing her customers’ visions and helping them determine the best solution for their needs.
Want to know what brand she recommends? Marvin! “I’ll be the first to say, Marvin truly represents it all in the window industry. There is a product for every residential build and budget!”

Tracie McRee
Sales Operations Manager
Tracie moved her family to Pagosa Springs in 2002 to raise her two kids in the mountains with her spouse. Soon after, she began with Doors and More, in charge of purchasing and managing both the office and sales. Now SoCo Wood & Windows, Tracie loves watching the business grow, especially with its dual emphasis on serving the customer first and putting people first.
Tracie is passionate about creating and providing an excellent product and enjoys educating customers on the many possibilities of what they can do. She strives to build a personal relationship with customers from beginning to end, understanding what they need and ensuring they’re satisfied with the results.
Want to know her favorite product? Doors! “There is so much more to them than most people realize!”

Jessica Perdee
Estimator
Jessica moved to Pagosa Springs in 2000 to live out her passion of building houses from the ground up. In 2009, she started working at Monograms Plus, doing embroidery and screen printing. She combined her construction knowledge and artistic skills when she moved to Doors and More in 2019, and stayed when Doors and More joined with Durango Wood Company to become SoCo Wood & Windows.
Jessica enjoys the neverending variety of tasks she is called upon to tackle at SoCo Wood & Windows, and is thankful for the team she works with. She is passionate about customer service in her role as an Estimator, and believes in going above and beyond to help customers create the homes of their dreams.
Want to know what she recommends? “The knotty alder stile and rail doors!”

Paul Rockelmann
Service Manager
A true Durango native (a rare find these days!), Paul has traveled extensively but has never found anywhere he likes better, and wants to always call Durango his hometown, largely thanks to the outdoor activities that he loves to do and are so easy to enjoy in the Colorado mountains, especially skiing, water sports, off-roading, and exploring new places.
He began his work in windows as a trim carpenter. He has worked in the role he is in now for 12 years, in large part because he really enjoys the people that he works with and the supportive small team dynamic that exists at SoCo Wood & Windows.
Want to know which product he most likes to do? “The black walnut slab work—just a gorgeous wood to work with and it’s a great focal point to see finished in a project.”

Erin White Sinberg
Cabinetry Design & Sales
Erin is passionate about creative design work that allows her to create extraordinary homes for SoCo clients. She loves how easy it is for SoCo customers to get so many of their project needs filled at one place, and seeing the smiles on the builder’s and owner’s faces when it all comes together.
Erin’s favorite SoCo product? Live edge walnut slabs. With three in her own home, she loves the solid earth element it brings, and the way that people seem to naturally gather around them. “I love them in a kitchen, bar, home office–even a pantry can rock a live edge slab.”

We Support Living Wages
